Mom's Ladies Bible Study

Hi, so on the heals of my last cake, I made this cake for my mother's ladies bible study group. They had a luncheon, which my mom hosted, for their last study for the summer. I loved making the previous cake so much I wanted to make another one. So here it is. My writing needs a lot of practice, but as I said in my last post I have not cake decorated for a long time. I had a lot of fun playing around with this one too.

Retirement Cake

Hi everyone, I just wanted to share this cake I made. I was asked by a friend to make a
retirement cake for her co-worker and the theme needed to have something to do with a camper
as this co-worker bought a camper and is going to tour Canada. This is what I had come up with. I have not made a cake in a long time. This cake has reminded me of how much I love cake decorating. Thank you my friend.

This is a card that was made in the spring of 2012. My sister in-law lost her brother and I made this sympathy card for her.

I made this card in March of 2012 for my dear friend. I used Copics to color Tilda and the paper came out of a book that I got from Micheals. I had only be doing cards for a few months at that time..

I made this card in April 2012 for my father in-law's birthday. He passed away a few weeks later and we miss him so much. The little Indian boy is a digi stamp from Saturated Canary,and I colored him with Copics. The paper is paper I had laying around.

Mothers Day Card

My mother-in law loves birds. She watches them for hours. I wanted to make her a special card and I got inspired by Penny Black. The bird stamp is Singer's Muse and the background stamp is slap stick Thinking with stamps all by Penny Black. I used chalk (for the first time) to do the coloring. I chalked the background and the bird and flowers. The paper I used was just regular card stock I had laying around. I am so pleased with card and excited to send to her.
I hope she likes it.
